Overview

Have you ever felt emotions that words alone could not describe?

Using gardening, cross-breeding, and dungeons exploration, the player unlocks new levels, skills and visual elements which can be combined and customized. They begin the process of building a new non-verbal language: This new way of communicating opens them up to the large variety of subtle emotional landscapes the mind is able to experience. While the large majority of VR games are dissociative in nature, Inflow•VR aims to offer a window into the connection between mind, body, and emotions. Building benefits and spatial awareness that persist outside of the experience to promote a sense of inner somatic safety.

An initial playtesting alpha phase including 300 people reported an immediate antidepressant effect, stronger body awareness and a renewed call for childlike playfulness and curiosity. Praised by the mind behind the famous audio-visual game REZ, Tetsuya Mizuguchi, previous demos have a track record of facilitating the occurrence of joyful experiences and awe.
